Sakshi is eight months pregnant with her Chhorii first child when she and Hemant are forced out of their home. They escape from the city and seek refuge in a house located deep inside sugarcane fields. The house is ridden with dark secrets that start unravelling as the story unfolds, posing a threat to Sakshi and her unborn child. Even as Sakshi tries to save herself and her unborn baby, scary sightings of three mysterious kids and a charred monster coupled with an eerie lullaby, emanating from an old transistor, wreak havoc with her sanity.
During a casual conversation when Hemant (Saurabh Goyal) is all praise for the family with whom they have temporarily stay put with, his wife Sakshi (Nushrratt Bharuccha) tells him, “Aaj bhi patni pati ko khana khilane ke baad hi khaati hain.” When Hemant tries to brush off the sexism as ‘parampara’, Sakshi quips, “Tabhi toh kal mein jee rahe hai.” A little ruffled Hemant asks her, “Toh pati ko pehle khaana khilaana galat hai?” To this, his wife says, “Pati ke saath mil baat ke khaana yeh sahi hain.”Chhorii 2021 Full Movie Download
Even in a horror film like Chhorrii, director Vishal Furia manages to question some rigid patriarchial customs which has been normalized in the name Chhorii of love and respect in most Indian households. The very fact that the above conversation happens between a city-based couple highlights that the problem runs deep. And that’s where Chhorrii delivers a perfect blow to the misogynistic mindset.Nushrratt Bharuccha’s upcoming film Chhorii, a horror thriller, is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video on November 26, 2021 and we are super excited to see the actress foraying into a new genre i.e., horror.
While Amazon Prime did not reveal the specific streaming time of Chhorii, reports suggest that the movie will be released at 12 AM. (We will update the exact time once it is official.When financial woes come knocking at Hemant (Saurabh Goyal) and his eight-months pregnant wife Sakshi (Nushrrat Bharrucha)’s door, the couple is forced to flee from the city for a few days. That’s when their faithful driver Kajla (Rajesh Jias) comes to their rescue and offers to give them refuge at his house which is situated at the centre of an enormous sugarcane plantation faraway from the city.
