Pathu Thala (2023) [Hindi HQ-Tamil]

An undercover cop goes into the Pathu Thala big bad world, a place taken over by a don, where his safety may be compromised. Pathu Thala (transl. Ten-Headed) is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language neo-noir action thriller film directed by Obeli N. Krishna and is a remake of the 2017 Kannada film Mufti.[2] The film stars Silambarasan and Gautham Karthik in the lead roles with Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Kalaiyarasan, Teejay Arunasalam and Anu Sithara in supporting roles. The title of the film was announced on December 24, 2020.

The movie starts with the CM activating a Medical Vaccine Camp with the CM and AG Ravana or AGR’s enemy, Deputy CM Naanjilar Gunasekharan being there too. Later that night after the Organization The CM goes missing, leading the CBI to Investigate one of AGR’s Men, Ammer’s Murder.

The scene changes to a Vizag where some goons have tied up Gunalan aka Guna who he fights and kills. Then Bhai sends him to AGR to inform him that he has to get through Selvin and Singa to meet AGR. Guna aboards a Train and who he is, is shown. Guna is Sakthivel an undercover cop who is going to meet and arrest AGR. After some conflicts with Selvin, the scene changes to Leela Thompson who is a Tahsildar and makes an effort to stop AGR’s vehicles which results in her meeting Guna/Sakthi. The scene goes to a flashback of the love and breakup story of Guna/Sakthi and Leela. Then Guna/Sakthi after gaining the trust of Singa finally meets AGR and also saves him in a festival happening in the temple. The people of that place hate AGR thinking he is bad Pathu Thala nd a ruthless goon. As AGR makes steps to abolish Naanjilar many things happen including the people realizing he is good and his sister who he lives for finally talking to him (she did not talk to him because he killed her husband, the CM) with the help of Guna/Sakthi.

Then one night when Guna/Sakthi and AGR are alone, AGR reveals he knows Guna/Sakthi is an undercover cop and his real name is Sakthi just then a gun shoots Guna/Sakthi he becomes unconscious resulting in AGR fighting and killing Naanjilar. That morning the cops come and arrest him. While the Head CBI officer pushes Guna/Sakthi, to tell the truth, Guna/Sakthi refuses and says if they can find it themselves. Since there is no evidence they temporarily release AGR and the movie ends with him flying away in a helicopter.
