Neil Nawaz directed Bengali web series ‘Abani Sen Er 7no Case’ is one such detective thriller that traces the journey of a detective. The series stars a host of popular Tollywood actors. However, unlike the majority of Bengali detectives, Abani Sen is an original creation by the writer-director himself. Recently the series had its star-studded premiere at SRFTI and received a thumbs up from the Tolly fraternity for its freshness. Abani Sen is a self-proclaimed detective who failed miserably in his first six cases. When Abani realises that being a detective is just a day dream to him, destiny comes with a twist. While Abani was working with a caterer service, a lady dies in mysterious circumstances and he smells his last chance to establish himself as a detective.

Debopriyo Mukherjee plays the titular character of the series. So you can expect a hint of freshness as he effortlessly blends quirk and intrigue into his act.
