Interestingly, instead of Sayantan Ghosal, director Abhimanyu Mukherjee will take up the responsibility of directing ‘Indu 2’.The first season premiered last year and featured some popular artists, including Manali Manisha Dey, Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Chandraniv Mukhopadhyay. The story was conceptualised by Sahana Dutta, who is making her presence felt in OTT world after presenting several hit daily soaps on Bengali small screens. In its first season, ‘Indu’ narrated the story of a young girl named Indrani who gets married to a rich household. The story was initially weaved at the backdrop of Indrani-Sougata’s wedding and eventually progresses with their journey as a newlywed couple.Ever since the wedding rituals started, mysterious incidents have taken place, which leads bride Indrani to become suspicious of several things including the fact that someone isn’t happy with her entry into the household. While delving deep into the matter, Indrani finds out some twisted tales and family secrets too.
