Kerala Crime Files – Shiju, Parayil Veedu, Neendakara is an Indian Malayalam-language web series directed by Ahammed Khabeer[1] and written by Ashiq Aimar[2] starring Aju Varghese[3] and Lal[4] as lead roles[5] and tells about the Sub-inspector Manoj and his team are on a race to catch the murderer.

Director Ahammed Khabeer, who has helmed movies like June (2019) and Madhuram (2021), makes his foray into the OTT space with this crime thriller. This series is said to be based on a true story, but how it has been made engaging for the audience is what is striking. A sex worker is found strangulated to death in a seedy lodge in Ernakulam and Sub-Inspector Manoj (Aju Vaghese) Kerala Crime Files and his team are called to investigate the crime. As they begin to hunt for the murderer, they are misled by false information that the suspect has given wherever he has stayed or worked. But Manoj, his boss Circle Inspector Kurien (Lal) and the team are unrelenting in their pursuit of the killer and are not willing to give up till they find him. The case is simple, but do they eventually manage to nab the killer?
